Involvement
Marworth believes treatment of the family is an important part of the individual's alcohol and chemical dependency treatment program and recovery. Addiction disease causes everyone in the addicted person's family to change his or her behavior, most often in very unhealthy ways. Upon your arrival at Marworth, our staff meets with you and your family to discuss your treatment plan. Family therapy is also provided concurrently with the individual patient's addiction treatment.

In addition, Marworth offers a full day psycho-educational program conducted by a family therapist, focusing on:

• Educational discussion, films, lectures, and facts about the disease of chemical dependency and its effect on family and loved ones
• Group discussion offering support and understanding
• Individual family conference designed to address personal issues
• Introduction to Al-Anon family groups
