Marworth uses targeted support groups to help people who’ve had past trauma. Our team can help with these trauma symptoms:
- Difficulty managing stress
- Difficulty connecting with others
- Feeling unsafe
- Flashbacks or recurrent dreams
- Disassociation
- Sense of blame to self or others
- Inability to remember key aspects of trauma
- Grief
- Survivor's guilt
Our addiction treatment program also offers trauma support through Seeking Safety: Trauma and PTSD Support Groups, which focus on topics such as:
- Grounding skills
- Asking for help
- Boundaries
- Recovery thinking
- Anger and trauma
Call Marworth at 800-442-7722 or email marworth@marworth.org to speak with an admissions counselor. You can enroll in a substance use recovery program yourself or refer someone else for treatment. Many people are referred to Marworth by a family member, family doctor, therapist, employer, employee assistance program, insurance provider, clergy, community organization or another drug and alcohol center.
